If lightweight is what you need, Emco has fabricated many displays from rigid foam PVC such as Celtec®, Sintra®, Komatex®, and Trovicel®. Compared with acrylic, rigid foam PVC can cost as much as 40% less, it is considerably lighter, and much easier to fabricate.
