Computerized Cutting
Emco Plastics’ computerized cutting department is equipped with the newest state of the art saw from Schelling. Our Schelling saw offers these tremendous advantages over other brands: Consistently produces cutting tolerances of +/- 0.005” Cuts higher stacks of material which eliminates cutting cycles. Features “Space Cut Blade” technology which produces smooth, chip free edges that require no secondary machining. Custom designed software supports the elimination of operator error and material waste. Material handling technology reduces labor and scratching of materials. Chip free cutting of .030” material without a cover board. Solid pressure beam and dust protection curtain produce dust free parts On-line downloading of optimized cutting patterns and label printing.      Emco is also equipped with a computerized Hendricks saw that can cut material up to four inches thick and as large as 10’ x 10’. Our cutting department also includes various table saws, vertical band saws, and a horizontal bandsaw which can accommodate up to 12” diameter rod and tube.
